Promotion readiness check
Nine questions about the evidence behind your case. It measures what you can currently prove, not how good you are, and it is not an objective verdict on your career. Nothing is stored and no account is needed.
1. Ownership
I own work end to end that used to sit with someone more senior.
2. Delivery
I can name outcomes from the last six months, with numbers or a clear before and after.
3. Scope
My budget, headcount, systems or stakeholder seniority grew since my last level change.
4. Decision authority
I regularly make calls without escalating, and I am accountable for how they land.
5. Leadership
People are better at their jobs because of something I deliberately did.
6. Influence
Someone more senior changed a plan or a decision because of my input.
7. Repetition
This is a pattern across months, not one strong project.
8. Strategic scope
I shape what the team should be doing, not only how well it gets done.
9. Recognition
Written feedback or work routed to me shows others already treat me at that level.
