How Look at you go uses AI

AI does the remembering and the pattern-spotting. The judgement about your career stays with you.

  1. 1

    You record what happened

Ninety seconds of speech, or a few typed lines. Voice updates are transcribed to text; the recording itself is not stored.

  2. 2

Look at you go structures the evidence

The transcript is turned into discrete records: what the situation was, what you actually did, what came of it, and whether there is a measurable result attached.

  3. 3

AI helps identify patterns, strengths and gaps

Across everything you have recorded, it looks for what is building, what is thin, and what a reviewer would push back on. Market questions use public sources and only your role, level, industry and region.

  4. 4

You stay in control of what you use

Every insight shows the records behind it. Evidence is a suggestion until you confirm it, and you can edit or delete anything.

What AI does not do

Where it can be wrong

Models miss things, over-read a single good week, and occasionally state something with more confidence than the evidence deserves. That is why every insight is traceable to the records behind it, and why the honest answer here is sometimes "not yet". Review anything you plan to say out loud in a review or a salary conversation.

Which services see your content

Your updates, documents and profile details are processed by AI model providers to return a result: transcription, structuring, embedding for search, and analysis. Market questions go to a research provider with your role, level, industry and region only, and no identifying details. Everything travels over encrypted connections.
